SEASONAL TIRE SWAPS

If you run two sets of tires, and in Ontario you should, you need to swap them twice a year. Most people wait until the first snowfall or the first heat wave to think about it. By then, every shop in Mississauga has a two-week wait. The smarter move is October before the cold hits, and April once temperatures are consistently above 7°C.

At Hive, a seasonal swap means we take your current set off, mount your stored set, balance each wheel properly, and torque everything to spec. We don't store tires on-site, so you'll need to bring your second set with you, but the swap itself is fast. Most vehicles are done and back on the road the same visit.

We'll also check your tires while we have them in our hands: tread depth, sidewall condition, any slow leaks you might not have noticed yet. If something needs attention, we'll tell you before the season starts, not after you've been driving on it for three months.
